Online Tool: Emotional Eating Profile Page 1 of 7

Are you an emotional eater?

Typically, the emotional eater has a dieting history that includes multiple attempts at weight loss and even some short-term successes; but the emotional eater almost always regains the weight that was lost. For the emotional eater, food has become a valued source of comfort and support. It can even become an obsession. Many people complain that they are always dreaming about their next meal.

But not all emotional eaters are created equal. Some struggle with issues others don't even dream could be a problem. Determining which of the many emotional eating patterns apply to you and your life is the first step towards freeing yourself. This brief assessment will determine what kinds of emotional eating interfere with your diet.
